Description:	Finally got around to playing with Beanzvision's "Half dome lighting system" which I downloaded from his site - there is "GLS lighting tut" on this site too, also by Beanzvision. Anyhow, the effect, although somewhat expensive in terms of render time is, I think you will agree, very natural. The model is my own, the point of which was to show off the scruffy white plastic material I'd been fiddling around with. Hope you like it.

Rusty

It's the small rusty paches on the igniter wheels that impress me most. The richness of detail in those parts is breathtaking.

Oh yes

Took the best part of an afternoon, I modeled form the igniter wheel outwards and just kept building - painstakingly slow and I only did the bits that show because I'm fundementally quite lazy. From what I've found so far I think I could do it in half the time with Wings3D! Lovely piece of programming wings, I would recomend to anyone who want's to model - easy to pick up, not too flakey and free - what more could you ask?
