Very effective water. The ship seems a bit on the small side, but scaling is always a detail I obsess upon.

The tree is very nice. You've catched the night very well. We don't see a lot of dark scenes here. I think the ship should be put farther out at sea or if it stays here, be larger. But this might spoil the composition. Perhaps a smaller ship? It is a a beautiful scene but I have ambivalent feelings about it. Lost but hope with the blue flowers. By the way, the foreground vegetation looks very good indeed.

Horo's right about that we don't recieve a lot of nighttime scenes. But this one is a success, I can assure you. I especially like how the tree is stretched towards the ship, as if in desperate call for being noticed, a call for help perhaps. And it could not be the wind that's causing it to bend this way, because I see how the flags and sails are pointing. Very good scene.
