Ok, I have no idea of how I rendered this except it was with Bryce5.5. I do remember I had a few problems, trials & errors, trying to get both sides to look almost the same. Also, I rendered this quite awhile ago when I first started messing around with Bryce. Man, I love this program, lol.
It is nice as it is. I find it always difficult to comment on abstracts. There is nothing to relate to, the artist has maximum freedom.
Nevertheless a suggestion provided the cut in the texture of the "cylinder" is not intentional: you can adjust the size of a texture and also its mapping mode.

When I rendered this, I had no idea of what I was doing or what you can do with Bryce, course, that still holds true to this day, lol.

Appears to me as a blue plastic:). Rebel, I agree with You totally, because Bryce to me is the program full of new explorings.

Great. Abstract indeed. Seems the overall color impression is very bright and lively, I get a positive feeling from the scene. The bump on the primary cube is negative on the left and positive on the right. This is a bug that I do not think will ever be remedied until Bryce gets true displacement mapping. I get the feeling of machinery, like we are viewing the inner workings of some sort of machine.
