Pleasing choice of colours, particulary like the deepening blue area in the lower middle of the image, looks like there is some sort of reef action going on down there - very nice.

The water is outstanding in this image. The background could've used a bit more attention, but the overall image is great :o)

For landscapes

You could try editing the landscape model a bit in the editor, Erode it a bit, Sharpen, add some noise, etc, just experiment with the features and you can come out with some very nice results. For the texture, the whole mountain texture that you're using is fine, just don't submerge the landscape that much hehe :o) Also push it further back into the background, enlargen it and add some haze, it works wonders sometimes ^_~

But the image all round is still great, so once again good job!
