Description: It is very common for small birds to attack larger predator birds in order to protect themselves and their young.

My first time but I still want your honest comments.

I like

I like the water, the sky and the birds. The moutains look a little fake. I'm sure one of the more skillful users can give you some suggestions on how to make the material look more realistic.

I really like it though =) Good work!

In a way, it also reminds me of the Eagle Boss from world of warcraft ... =) He has swooping birds attacking you through out the fight.

Thanks

Thanks for the comment. The water is Horo's water mat from the Material x-Change. And yes I am working on making better mountains. So am willing to take any suggestions I can get.

I have not seen the Eagles in Warcraft but they are a majestic bird.

Nice to see my water put to excellent use. This is a nice piece of work, the sky fits in nicely. I would experiment with the material applied to the mountains and keep to one material for all mountains. I think they are too near together to have such different rock types. The bushy or grassy part at far right looks quite good.

Thanks for the pointers. I am rendering this scene right now with a new terrain and will submit it as soon as I find one I like. I have already changed it four times. I also put a different texture under the water so am curious to see how it turns out.

This is a very good scene. Although simple it seems compositionally sound. Horo's water mat is amazing. He seems to have approached the material from a physical point of view and the effect is noteworthy. Your sky looks good also. The birds poses are very good, I believe the birds are actually flying and I can feel the aggression in their flight pattern. This is a most clever detail!

Thanks, I think simple is good for us beginners. At the same time I have been told by other artists that I have done some remodeling for that value and simplicity are the keys to a good scene. I wonder sometimes if it is an art to make a scene simple as it is to make it complex. I guess it all depends on what you focus on. My appreciation for nature had improved tenfold since I have been working with digital art. Off course I live in Utah so what can I say. I can look out my back window and see Pine mountain which right now has snow on the peaks. I live 30 miles from Zion and two hours from Bryce.
