Golden Infinity
Description: Looks like abstracts are popular right now so I'm throwing one of my own into the mix. Trisphericon was pretty abstract but I wanted something new and fresh.

This one took almost 15 hours ro render and consists of a mirrored multifacetted object placed in the center of a mirror box. A little golden ambience and presto! Magic! LOL The object isn't positioned perfectly, as I usually take great care in doing for an image like this, but after a test render I saw some really interesting, and downright spooky in my oppinion - Halloween is coming up so it kind of fits - things in it so I left it as is.

This is a good test of one's imagination. Study this image carefully and tell me what you see. ;-)

My apologies for the image size. I had to shrink it to bring down the file size and still keep the maximum quality.

Interesting. Depending on how I set my mind what to expect, I see different things. Most pronounced is the bear face in the center with the tongue out. Everything looks quite 3D: the brighter the nearer to the viewer.

Thanks for the comment, Horo!

Bear? You see? Even I miss things. That's why I threw that challenge out, to find out what other eyes and imaginations can see. Look carefully at that 'bear' head. There are other things there. In fact, look down the center verticle area carefully. There are 'faces' in practically that whole area.

As I said, I did not intend to post this image before modification. It's really amazing what the reflections on the imperfectly alligned centerpiece produced.

If it were multi-coloured it would be "trippy" as it is, it is very pleasing and easy on the eye. I don't seem to see as much as Horo in these Abstracts for some reason, but that does not lessen my enjoyment of them - I hope... I like too it anyway.

Thank you David!

We are all different and thus see different things. I would think it would also depend on your frame of mind at the time you study it. I personally see quite a bit and some of it is....disturbing, to say the least. Since this image is pretty serendipitous, if I may use that word in this case, I never expected any of these 'faces' that are hidden within it. It is like I have captured a still picture into a different realm. or realms, some of which are very dark and frightening.

Goes to show you the kind of imagination I posess. I scare myself all the time. ;-)
