Thats an awsome Picture

I love the sky in this image it pretty awsome , I know how your knitpicky about your skys but youve hit the number on this one. I was just wondering what happined in the right side of the piicture of the landscape. Ill guess ill just give it a nine, would be a ten but it looks a little sumbled in that corner. :)

Very Terragenic (and that is a compliment!!!) though it reminds me more of some coooooold northern sea than tundra. Ah well, who cares - tundra or sea, both are cold, no? :-)

Very realistic, almost looks like a terragen render. The water looks a bit like dry deserts ^_^

Panorama

It IS a 360? panorama, I cut the pic in two and reassembled it with swapped sides, I just wanted to be sure. I've done QT panos before but never a flat pic without any noticable distortion. How do you go about it? Panos are certainly something worth to explore.

The pic is beautiful, no doubt about it. I have some observations, though: The clouds are nice, but I've never seen that sort of clouds from all directions. They should be limitted to about 120? or so -- or put on dark heavy clouds, cumulus nimbus or something of that kind. They can cover the whole sky. From an artistic standpoint, there is nothing to complain about.

The water is funny. It reminds me of those blind glass windows that were used on bathroom doors and windows in order to let light through but prevented you from seeing who's taking a shower.

Thanks.

Yes, the water is both as Frozencry and Horo described (I have used the procedure for just those purposes) I was trying to replicate the terragen water look - guess I'm going to have to go back to the drawing board. I've got questions about QT panos - but I will address those directly. Thanks, once again, for your kind remarks. The corner is a distortion issue, there's a lot of that on the panoramic projection setting. Why not give it a whorl?
