Worthy of respect! Much has been done on modeling, construction, composition and lighting.
However, as many of your works to the interior, there is a lack of lighting. Many pieces of furniture do not cast shadows!
Or in a material of furniture the option "Cast Shadows" is disabled, or in a floor and curtain material is too great value of "Ambience".

This render seems familiar. I remember commenting on the copper relief hanging from the wall at some point in the past. The scene is awesome as SlepAlex has stated. Great set up, wonderful textures.

Agreed also with Alexey, that the lighting is still not as it could be in terms of shadows.

The problem is that there are two types of shadows, global shadows and self shadows.

Global shadows (shadows cast from one object onto another) have intensity sliders. But Self shadows (shadows a model casts onto itself) do not. This is where your image starts to look mismatched. There is proper self shading in your scene, but the global shadows are not as they should be.

The Shadow Intensity slider in the Skylab for the default sun sets the maximum global shadow intensity for all lights in the scene. So if you lower your sunlight shadows to 50%, all of your radials will also be limited to 50%. This could explain why you are having trouble with shadows. I am guessing your sun shadows are too thin.

For example, there dont seem to be any shadows cast by the sofa onto the floor. Why? Because you used the Skydome. The Skydome color in the Sky Lab should always be full black. If you use any other color it will activate the Skydome feature. The skydome does not cast shadows, so it can easily penetrate the ceiling to illuminate the objects within the room. But what we see on the floor with the lack of shadows is physically inaccurate. I've tried to warn you against Skydome for interior scenes before. Skydome is not designed for interiors. As I've stated to you many times before, shadows are more important than light.

I also have the impression that I've seen this one before. It is a beautiful room and full of details that show that someone is living in there.

I would suggest to start experimenting with the lights. You have many wonderful indoors which you could take to experiment with. Visual art is in great part about light and shadow and it is worth the trouble to improve on them.

Thanks guys. Shadows have always been my downfall. Thank you Rashad for you help with shadows. I'm working on a still life and am pulling my hair out trying to get the proper shadows in it. Any help pertaining to shadows is very welcome. Again, thank you all for your comments.
