Rendered with Bryce7.0, regular AA. This was supposed to be just a simple scene of a house along a river, but for you that know me (Horo), you know I can't seem to make things simple. I guess that's because of the crazy life I live.Anyway, a storm appeared. Wow, that was fun creating, I used the "Thunder Head" mat
Inded, another "Rebel", I really do love it. The house boat, what a nice idea. It took me a while to discover the chopper. And the smoke from the tower behind the house boat. It's full of details. You must be an incredibly patient man.
I like the light on the water from the boat. The one from the house looks a bit odd to me. The clouds are great, could be a tad darker, perhaps. The lightning bolts look convincing. Very nice work. A joy to behold.

Thanks for your great comment. Yes, the chopper blends in a bit, but the smoke is a different detail. Sorry to say, there isn't a tower. The smoke is coming from the houseboat. On the other side of the boat is a viewing room. Ya, the clouds were a major issue for me. I think this is the first time I didn't use a Bryce Sky MAT. It took me quite a few days trying to get them looking half way decent. And, I do agree, they should have been darker. An excuse?? My son keeps tilting my monitor in different positions when he uses my computer, then I try to get it back to the correct position for my vision. As you know, the position of the monitor is important for the darkness and lightness of the page you are viewing, plus, of course your monitor color, brightness, hue, etc., are very important.
Again thanks Horo, it is always a pleasure hearing from you.
