There are very nice colors in this scene. It is hard to judge it beyond that because I don't know what effect you were after, as there is no description. The only criticism I'm pretty sure fits no matter what your goals were, is more completion. Where are the other 50 or so trees in the background making this a true forest? Also, where are the leaves? There should at least be a few. I like the fog and the plants on the ground. The sky will wind up being mostly invisible when you have more trees. The lighting is intersting. It looks a little too much of a spotlight. Play around with the "complex effects" section of the materials lab and find "streaming lights" and apply it to a pyramid. Use this for your rays, and work your lighting as a radial. Also, I really like the texture of the tree trunks

If you're after light rays, try the Streaming Rays material by Frozencry that can be found in the MaterialXchange her. As Rashad already said, there need to be more trees to make a forest. Strange that the fox throws no shadow.
