Sadness
Description: I made this picture some time ago for a school project. The wooden loft and the gas light was made in Bryce 5, the man was made in Poser 5.

incredible

I really like this picture. It invokes alot of emotion which can be hard to do.
Very well done.

Okay

The textures are nice, quite nice. As a composition, I find this picture more then impressive. Munchy is definately right 'bout the emotion. It's like a scene of a horrifying movie. But I think you made the pic a bit bright. Maybe you should try to ballance the light so the "roof-floor" doesn't seem like it's in the air... or leave it that way. Good one, bravo!

oops

The Brightness - I'm sitting on another PC now, and I need to tell that was wrong about the brightness. It is the Monitor that plays games with me all the time so... :((

hehe

Thank you for your comments. But i think u can be right about something Richter. The wooden floor seems to not reach the wall, it seems to just stop in mid air. Maybe i can fix it in ps or something.
Tnx again :=)

The colours and the lighting make this a very striking image, particularly like the glowing halo around the light. My only issue I have with this is the lack of shadow beneath the floor level, considering the position of the light, I would have expected this area at the bottom of the image to be in deep shadow? That quibble asside, still 5/5

Thank you david. Well, still i do not know what happened to the shadow. And i have not thought much about it before now. Maybe i could mix it a little bit in ps, because i lost all my bryce saves and models when my pc crashed....
Thnx again for ur comments

Very impressive -- "sorgenvoll", indeed. Excellent composition, I pitty that chap, he certainly doesn't look happy. Light he needs, even though he's sitting at the window. Richter may be right that we would expect a bit more darkness for such a picture, but I think the brightness emphasises the desperation. Perhaps more contrast?

Contrast

About the contrast. It might be an idea to maybe increase the contrast and decrease the brightness. But then i`m afraid the colors will seem to hard. I am now sitting on another computer with another sort of brightness and contrast, and i now can see even the grass beneeth the floor. back home there are almost totally dark beneeth the flooring. It is bad that the brightness and contrast changes between one computer and another, because it can seem perfect one place and crappy another place. But i might have to darken the picture underneeth the flooring.
Again, thank u for all your comments. I apreciate it!
