Six st4rs

Incredible, great contrast. Bright background and dark trees, catches that effect... perfect.

Woodlands (blue bell version) MkII without Bluebells. Well, it is different, the camera slightly moved. I judge that from the path, the slope, the rocks at right and particularly by the slanted trees. Camera probably moved backwards.

Nevertheless, excellent work and Nights4ar is quite right that it catches the feel perfect. The faint mist patches from the humidity (morning thaw?) rising up is outstanding. If this wasn't so damn early in the morning, I'd be tempted to go for a walk.

Terrific

It is an extraordinary work you've done there! At first I thought the thumb image was a realistic pic you made for the contest, but in the second... I think this is one of the best images you have posted here. Someone mentioned something 'bout the effect, the feel, well... The Feel is REAL I can tell :)) 5/5

This picture reminds me of some illustrations of Middle Earth by Alan Lee. Depending on the context you look at it, it is soothing or fearful. Outstanding!

Thanks

The "feel" comes from a volumetic cloud placed right amongst the scene, giving it a certain patchyness that fools the eye into thinking there is more going on with the light than there really is. My biggest problem is that me and the tree editor cannot get along - and I can't access the file now because of that bug!
