Thats freakin awesome!!!!!!! I love it. Great work Cell-shading ( toon-shading) is a fairly simple thing to do, but still... its quite kool. What did u make the model in? Keep it up.

Again, I think since you have the option of doing so you should take it a bit further and try to produce a hybrid situation where in they look half cartoon cell shaded and fully 3D - the totally black backgound I think flattens things somewhat, if some floor was included but just lit by some local lighting and the robots could be seen to be casting shadows I think the total 3D effect would be enhanced considerably.

One of the rare moments I heartly disagree with David. I never doubted the pureness of Bryce in this picture. I've experimented with such myself, with less pleasing results, though. Stand by this very ?primitive? figures. Don't add nice lighting, keep it as simple as possible. Produce an equally simple landscape or room walls around the benders. It's cartoon, let it be cartoon. Of course, you could always do a hybrid, but I think it wold spoil the charm.

its a good idea from david, but ill give the one reason why i didnt make a background anything otehr than plain blakc which is that i havnt thought of a way of making an outline for all his body that will follow the camera, i can always place lines in a still image but i like to be able to animate him, anyhow i will try and make him say standing outside of the planet express building (ill figer out how to make that) thatnks for the coments so far tho :D xX
