Hi I was just wondering what the site was for?

I saw some categories and I see the site is named Bryce5. Is this to talk about and to show off your work from Bryce5 or 6 and stuff?

Well let me tell you about myself.

I began 3D with Bryce5 at high school.
My friend gave me a CD to install Bryce5 at home.
I have been practicing for a couple of years.
I have made animations, models, landscapes.

I was wondering if I could show off my work here and how?

Welcome to bryce5.com, the friendlist gallery there is. Nightst4r, who owns this site, started it when Bryce 5 hit the stores. Meanwhile, we are rapidly approaching the publication of Bryce 7. This site is for all versions of Bryce - even renders made with another application are welcome.

I am having trouble uploading pictures. The thumbnail is fine but the larger picture won't load.

I made sure the max size is smaller

I made sure the file type is .Bitmap Image

I made sure the file size is below 750kb.

Not sure why it wont load.

Max size for pictures is (width x height) 1280 x 1024 pixels, 750 KB and for the thumbnails 150 x 200 pixels, 64 KB. Depending on the workload of the administrator, it may take a few days until your pictures appear.

The filename for the main image and the thumbnail must be identical. Best is to use jpg.

Yeah, Horo is correct, jpg is the opnly format you can display on the internet for these types of things, never bmp. The best idea is to save the original render as a bmp to retain full quality, and compress the image into a jpg only when you are ready to upload it to one of the galleries online. I think I am getting it now. Just posted a vehicle picture. I am figuring things out now. But still cannot figure out how to post an animation. Is it okay if I post it on the forums?

As far as I know, only GIF animations are accepted, no mov or mp4 or so.
