Site crashing

I was saying how good I thought this pic was when the site went through one of its crashes - I don't know if it just fails for me because I am on a very iffy dial up or if it is something more universal. Anyhow, yes, this is an excellet composition and the contrast between sky and fore is most effective - only I was suggesting the use of additional lighting to pick out fore details in a kind of radiosity style or using the processor melting true ambience option in the premium render - however that is a bit tricky as it requires ambient settings in mats and sky to be compatible for best effect. Good work and good luck if you take up any of my suggestions.

Trees

I like this pic, nice colours. Though David is right about a bit light for the foreground, I like it the way it is -- almost a silhoulette of the foreground and the horses. I also like life in form of men or beasts in the pics, but beware, it might get kitschy. I have qualms about the trees. They look too much as comming straight out of the tree lab.

Thanks guys!

Thanks for all the valuable comments! Horo, you are right. The trees come straight out of the tree lab! I am still a rookie with this program and have not much of a clue yet to change the trees to what I want them to look like. But it will come!

Anyway, thanks for the comments. I will consider the good tips in my next creation!

site

ya the site's db keeps loosing integrity, we're not sure why, the server admins ( not site admins ) do fix it usually within a few hours. Its very odd.
