Description:	Yes, I'm back. After a moth on non-inperation, I have finally gotten Bryce open to do a few Misc. entries. strange model made in wings 3d. It's a sphere with extruded and rotated sides.

Nice ?starfish?. Why is the lower one not also made of glass? And a blue background, for a change? The form is quite nice.

Lower starfish?

the "lower starfish", I think, is not an object. it is made by the passing of light (sunlight) through glass. a strange shape I have made is the top view of this pic with a strong radial light in the starfish. I will upload it if there is a request.

Give a thing a name and you don't be afraid of it anymore. My imagination told me this resembles a starfish. It doesn't matter. I don't get you about the lower object. Is it sort of a shadow thrown by the light through the upper one or is it mirrored on the groundplane?

the shadow

it is a shadow of sorts. you can make the same effect by making a sphere from standard glass. there will be a shadow dark on the outside and white on the inside. this is what the lower starfish is.
