Man, you did what I've set out do do several times without satisfactory result. This is really very cool, indeed; looks realistic, too. How did you do those filament clouds? And those violett bright stars? Excellent use of light. I cerainly do like this one!

Quite facinating really I love it its like a a "quiet" fire kinda texture to it if you get my drift hehe
But totaly real and covincing and yet again id give it a Well deserved 5 outa 5..........:) BTW was it all in bryce if so how did you do the texture in space thx

Smoke and mirrors

No seriously, it's a mod of the plasma mat and a bit of cloud - the real trick is to make them look like their close together but not have them collide because strange things happen when mostly transparent volume materials intersect - an effect (bug) used in "heavens gift". It is fun playing with the plasma mats but you kinda have to build your pic around what you find becuase being procedural you never quite know where the fire will lead you.
