I've been lucky enough to watch eclipses. What always surprised me was how late the short night finally came. The sun has to be covered by about 90% until a darkening became obvious. The brightness in this pic seems quite accurate if my memory doesn't let me down. The moon, of course, should be dark grey or even pitch black. For artistic purposes, a back-lit moon is permitted, of course.
I like the colour of the sky even though it seems a bit unnatural to me. It adds to the dramatic of the moment, though. The plants are very nice and I do like that faint mist hoovering over the water.
