Soothing

The environment suggests a sea beach. That kind of water surface you might find on a remote mountain lake -- transparent, reflecting and unstirred. The beach is good, the hills a bit boring. Where do the rocks come from? But it is a soothing image, I like the composition and the angle of vision.

I like the composition of the scene and the overall colouring but I feel that there is a predominance of high frequency materials in there which is destoying the sense of space and depth. It's all just a little to "noisy" if you take my meaning, for it to be totally soothing. Not sure I know how to fix it but that is my impression. Maybe more folaige and blander hills with more defineing shadow regions?
