Azathoth
Azathoth

Azathoth
Description: That last amorphous blight of nethermost confusion which blasphemes and bubbles at the centre of all infinity - the boundless daemon sultan Azathoth, whose name no lips dare to speak aloud, and who gnaws hungrily in inconceivable, unlighted chambers beyond time amidst the muffled, maddening beating of vile drums and the thin monotonous whine of accursed flutes - H.P. Lovecraft

Wing3d

One of the primitive shapes you can make is the torus knot (it might only be available under advanced menu's I don't know, the first thing I did was turn them on so that I could fiddle) anyhow, load up wings, right click on empty screen, go to bottom of menu - "more" into the sub menu, select torus knot, highlight, press "s" to smoothe - select vertexes, extrude a bit, then smoothe again and there you go, you have yourself a spikey torus knot - don't forget to edit and smoothe in bryce once you've imported. So much fun for so little effort. :0)

Great!

Great piece of art, indeed. My vision is different, but yours is definitely a legitimate interpretation. A knoted torus -- I didn't figure out that but it certainly fits the description of a place where nature itself is perverted.

I have no idea what it's supposed to be, but i'd be damned if I didn't say it was cool. Love the fire material, looks great!

Material for knot

It is the same material at used in my Techno city pic - which may not sound like a very helpful answer but if you look in the comments under that pic you will find that I've explained it all in some detail :0)

Thanks for your comments, I don't know if it matters if it has to be anything, but I thought Horo would appreciate the HPL connection. Next, a Shoggoth maybe, they are my favorites, some slimy perverted mass of wrything tenticles and slavering jaws emerging from beneath the ice in the shadow of the Mountains of Madness, how does that sound? Oooh gooey ;op
