Rough Beach
Description:	Experiment with surf at a coastline. Got the plants/sand subsurface effect as a bonus. Quite an improvement over earlier attempts, but not I'm not yet satisfied. Any suggestions how the surf/breakers effect could be accomplished else than using a slightly enlarged copy of the terrain with a cut-off top?

I like this image, the trees make it look really cool. I would use photoshop to enhance the water, such as water breaking on the shore. Nice job though.

Haha, I copied the tree from my Firtrees. I made them with the Bryce5 tree editor, using the settings found at http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~rodv/leaf/tree.htm and tweeked it a bit. All firtrees are the same, just rotated a bit, nothing fancy.

You are right, of course. But I am a purist and set myself the task to never use post production (except for scaling) if it can be prevented. An old fashioned attitude I know. Mayhap I will grant myself a bit more freedom later. You certainly know better the I do that pp is almost a hobby in itself -- experience and time.
