Giant Masks
Description: Still teaching myself wings3d, still a lot to learn. Modeling faces turned out to be considerably harder than I imagined, ok so not everything is easy right, but I think I know how to draw faces - until now... so they became these giant eyeless masks. Anyone comes across any good tutorials for doing faces in surface division modlers let us know. Oh BTW the lighting is Beanzvisions HGL system.

At a loss

David Brinnen I really admire work. I would eventually like to create something that rivals the word, "good". So I have one question: Collectively, what software do you use all together?

Nice!

It looks awesome, I like it. So this is what wings3D can do? I have some practicing to do :)

Software

Bryce5 (obiously), Paint Shop Pro7 (contrast and gamma, rescaling etc), Corel photo-paint7 (useful for mask work), Fractint (a fractal generating program - free to download and use), Wings3d (moddeling - free to download and use) - and that's about it really, I've looked at plant studio and universe generator and terragen (all free to trial) but done nothing with them, just looked.

Glad to see the return of Frozencry, thanks for you comments, as to what wings3d can do, who knows? Quite a lot I suspect, it seems to have plenty of commands, haven't got a clue what half of them do, but it's fun to play with!

Ah Wings3D

Great possibilities, hard to wield. I'm already at the stage of doing cubes. I don't think I'll ever catch up.
