Great landscape, beautiful vegetation in the fore- and middle-ground.

Thank you, Horo. To be honest, I had a hard time making myself two or three projects this year. Whether it's laziness, or lack of inspiration, or life circumstances. It would seem that the skill and knowledge of the program is growing. I can now easily do what I dreamed about five years ago. I can come up with a story in advance and implement it without looking back at the difficulties and lack of experience.
But something is gone or gone. I generally noticed that the popularity of 3D as an independent art direction is falling all over the world. Everything goes to the use of ready models and templates and commercialization, and the element of free and independent creativity falls.
But as soon as you start to profit from your work, then say goodbye to your inspiration and the quality of your creations. In this regard, I recall the famous novel of Jack London "Martin Eden", which I read in my youth, about 40 years ago. There, this state of soul is well described.

I do agree with you with what you say about 3D CG but this is a difficult subject to discuss. Is using premade dolls with premade poses, cloth and shoes and put them in front of a picture background still art or not? I have my doubts but on the other hand, what would - for example - Arkhip Kuindzhi who painted A birch grove in 1879 say about the value of a 3D CG render, just taking a few trees from the library and hit the render button: is that art?

Oh sure. From ready-made poses, figures and clothes, you can also make a unique job if you have to do it with the proper skills and inspiration. But I'm not talking about that.
I mean that the art of 3D has become less popular than 10 - 15 years ago, especially among young people. Many sites on 3D graphics have died, others drag out a miserable existence. The most popular and visited sites exist thanks to commerce. An example is the largest Russian site http://render.ru/. Absolutely commercial resource, where the work is exhibited mainly by professionals or those who want to become one.
Anyway. It's just grumbling. The mood is.
And yet it is a pity that David threw Bryce, without him boring.
