A lot of work went into this render. Very detailed with the rocks, plants and houses.

Light levels are excellent. The hdri sky backdrop looks very good. AS always, you really draw me into the render with the depth of the scenario. Very well thought out yet it still retains a sense of naturalness. Full marks.

Thanks friends!
Rashad, however distant cypress in this series of trees are poorly lit!
I struggled with this problem, but to no avail.

I think the lighting is fine. The issue with the trees in the series is our viewing perspective. As the trees progress away from us the polygons which face the sun are obscured from our view. This is why I tend to err on the generous side when it comes to the indirect light. I would have brightened up each of the domes, and probably boosted the sunlight as light bit as well.

Remember as well that I described the third dome, the non shadow casting Bounce Light Dome. I explained that this last tweak was often necessary. This is an example of why I use it. Try that. Sure, it will lift the lighting on the scene overall, but it will also correct the shadows in areas where they are still too deep.

The main consideration is the time of day. Is this an evening shot or mid-day. I think it is okay to push the dynamics of the lighting a bit more, allow a few pixels to reach burn-out if needed to create the sense of heat from the sun.
