They take a while don't they... I think your splash looks like it's in a thicker liquid that water, maybe if you indicated that it was mud, or sworfega, you could get away with it! By the way, was this from your imagination or did you work from a picture? - I looked at pics but to be honest they didn't look all that convincingly real even though I knew they must be :0.

Mine was just straight from my mind, Ur right though it does feel like another type of liquid.. =) I'll see about redoing it abit, although I'm starting summer skewl today so maybe not just yet =)

Ripple

Maybe you could make a circular ripple round the outer part to give it a more realistc effect.
