Very natural looking still life. Though it is a bit on the dark side, this must be due to the corner being dark, away from the window. The reflections of the window on the apple and the bottle add to the impression of a real picture. I particularly like how the flower contrasts against the dark wall. Ah - oh - I just discovered the "Fiery fog" render. And at right, isn't that "The village still life"?

Thank Horo.
About lighting. Here I tried to imitate the old Dutch still lifes. This natural light: it is the dim light from the window, and the pale light of a candle from the depths of the room. I once read about the manner of Dutch painters. After all, there was no electricity!
By the way, the flower modeled from terrains.

As for "The village still life" I do not understand. You mean my old job? http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=4475&

I love the light here in your scene. I think, you managed it to imitate the old dutch masters very well.

The brass material of the pot looks very realistic. Actually everything looks very realistic ;-) Great render!

I would love to know, how you made the flowers. You wrote there are terrains. I guess you made a terrain for e.g. the petals and then made a few copies and set them togehter, did you?

Thank you, electro-elvis.
Exactly. For the petals and leaves are used the same Terrain. But first I exported the terrain of low resolution to disk, and then import into Bryce. Masks for alpha drawn in 2D editor. The texture of the leaves can be any, I have to xFrog.
Heightmap for terrains in the form of a bell (or any geometric shape) it is convenient to create a free and simple program Terrabrush. It does not require installation:

PS. I sent you an e-mail this flower.
