re-rendering

Just noticed some small artifacts on the ship....
am re-rendering with better AA.

I'm still a VUE noob....so many bells & whistles!

Better AA.....without Glare and with Glare

Glare seems to soften it just a bit....my pref.

Any suggestions on rendering or lighting (or anything)
are welcome. =)

shades of Prometheus

Thanks........I'm studying lighting in VUE......they've added "Photometric Lighting"
and "Photometric Atmosphere" for increased realism. I'll re-render in VUE PLE
with Photometric Lighting, and see if there's a significant difference.

Realism is subjective.......it's a matter of taste, imho, and not my goal. I like
drama vs realism.

Prometheus is my inspiration......I want to see which app does UVs and Displacement mapping best to create detailed geometry.

This ship was created in ZBrush following a method by Mealea Ying
using extruded poly-loops. Here is some of her amazing work if anyone
is interested. http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?103320-Now-Im-having-fun/page115
