Interesting demo.

Have you ever tried projecting volume lighting through lenses? That's interesting too, but in a different less helpful way. :oP

Prisma

Not yet. Howeve,r I tried to create a light spectrum using a prism, but it didn't work. Perhaps, using volume light and volume glass could do the trick. Never thought of that. Thanks!

Actually

I think you might be dissapointed, the volume lights act extensively like fuzzy volumetic primitives with the added feature that 3D objects cooky cut them to give the illusion of shadows (or such has been my experiance) the trick to making lenses look right or forming a prism is to put in multiple light sources to simulate what you would expect to find but volume stuff has nasty clipping bugs which can be a pain - one work around I have discovered for this clipping problem with respect to transparent mateials - ie lenses (but I wont guarentee 100%) is to use blend transpareny mode on the glass/liquid - this certainly helps when dealing with a collision from a fuzzy object. What a headache!

Thanks Twice

This sounds like a lot of time and bother. I think, I'll postpone that project until retirement. I hope, Bryce still exists then. Thanks to the link on your HP I signed the petition as 1919th.
