Description: Vue 10 Esprit

I posted this because I wanted to show that Daz charactures do not come out in Vue that well either, It takes a lot of work to get them to look good, I am always working between Bryce,Vue and Daz studio, Clothing seems to come out better in Bryce because Daz uses a lot of shaders that do not translate well into other apps including Vue, While skin looks better in Vue and not as well in Bryce, Comes down to lighting, there are no less than six colored lights on the model to bring the clothes textures back.

Nice image STKydd. I have tried Vue before but never got on with it. I have seen a lot of very nice images created with it though.

You did a great job here. I'm not using Vue so I don't know what is involved. The hair came out nice, too. Typically rather difficult to get right in Bryce. Six coloured lights are a bit expensive to bring out the cloth texture. However, it was worth it, it does look nice. The skin looks dry, I would suspect a tiny bit of specular. Does Vue feature sub-surface scattering?
