Modern Living
Description: I made this picture nearly a year ago and it just started with the carpet. And then I slowly began to fill the room.

The corbusier chair LS3 and this cheap looking (at least as to design) chair on the left are made in Wings3d. All the other things in this room are modelled with Bryce

The fantastic floor texture is made by slepalex. Thanks again for sharing.

The lighting is mainly made with a fill light and a parallel light to simulate the sun light from outside. And there are a few radial lights for the floor lamp.

Overall, looks pretty convincing. Well turned out sunlight and general lighting. However, to get soft shadows, it is necessary to have too much Fill Lights.
Only the most essential point concerns the pile of the carpet. In my opinion, it is necessary to reduce by several times the height of terrain. I had once worked on the modeling of the carpet, but I did not succeed yet.

Very well done!!! I was wondering when you were going to complete this project. I agree with Alexey, it all turned out very well. The 3D Fill is doing exactly what it should here and it looks totally natural. Everything is perfect. Bravo and full marks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice scene, indeed. I wouldn't walk on the carpet barefoot, though otherwise it is superbly done. I have some reservations about the shadow banding at left of the bookshelf. The light as such looks really very natural.

Thank you all for the kind comments!
When I started the scene I was very satisfied with the carpet, but today I see it could neet a bit of work.
