The Apocalypse - awesome image. Probably the last one the photographer will make.

Yes, I know that Mojoworld can do wonders in terms of rendering and procedural textures. In this regard, the Mojo is more powerful than Bryce.

That is a very eye-catching, intrigue scene. For me it is not quite clear, what is more doom-laden, the planet or this sinister animal. But this ambivalence and that falling horizon makes is very interesting.

Thanks very much guys!

@Horo
You're too kind, danke!

@slepalex
I remember the first time I sat in front of Bryce and I was told it can do wonders too, question was - I couldn't do anything besides a chrome sphere with reflected default sky :) Then I realized the obvious - I had to be the artist to do all the work so Bryce or any other software can do its magic. Software alone is never quite enough:)

@STKydd
sadly, Pandromeda is no more, since 2006 I think. I have Mojo 3.0 and wanted to upgrade to 3.1, but no luck. I guess I'll never get there now...

@electro-elvis
Thank you. You acquired the meaning quite well. In fact, all "segments" play their role in the apocalyptic scenario - the never sleeping city with its degrading population, the monstrous shark, the burning armageddon sun rays. Which will come first.. that is to the viewer to interpret.

This image is far beyond anything I could conceive myself. I love the sense of scale and complexity. Masterful. WOW!

What an excellent image. Very atmospheric. The photo must have been taken with a slow shutter speed to get the trails of the lights from the traffic. Tried a bit of that myself and still have the images on a website I setup in 2007. it's only 10 photos and a bit of music but at the time I was really impressed with myself :) cos it was the first time I'd done anything like that.
It's here if you want a look.
