Description: This is the last of the series.

The molecule can be packed into 3D space in several different ways.

Render time was quite fast because i figured out how to be more efficient. I used IBL of course and of course i make all my own light probes with my Bryce OIP System.

For me does your picture illustrate perfectly what Bryce is actually based on: Mathematics and loops. Fascinating construction!

Ah - you know, if these cubes could be viewed trully 3 dimensional. You don't need the special lens David and I made in Bryce for Bryce, you can just move the camera horizontally a bit ad make a second render. Then make the left one red monochrome and the right cyan monochrom and add them together. If you have the goggles, you'll see it really 3D.

yes electro-elvis the object is a sort of metaphor of how Bryce works internally. Creating complexity from simplicity.

Good idea Horo. This object may be suitable. I have created many Anaglyph Engines. I will load one up and see if i can get a good render in one pass. So far i have done test only on simple object compositions. If i can get this one adjusted properly it should be very interesting.

But you will have to wait for the result.

Of all renders you posted I find this one my favourite. Not because of the shape presented alone, but the color choices you made along with lights and an "undisturbing" smoky background - vital in order to feel the scene complete. As you may know, a finished piece is evaluated in several aspects, each equally important - modeling, texturing, lighting (optionally postprocessing) and how the three of them bind into successful composition to present the author's idea. Given the abstract shape of the object, I'd say you managed to get right all of the above aspects. So congrats on that :)

p.s. As some members here I'm also a person of external software application, and because of personal tastes and production deadlines and tasks, I many times had to work faster then Bryce would allow me, hence I adapted my workflow to Maya, topMod, some other industry standards. Bryce was one of my first apps, so I'll never forget it and always come back to it. It thought me to think outside-of-the-box and solve a problem with clever workarounds, or methods, such as what you're presenting. I'm glad you joined here with your knowledge, and even though I use bryce a lot less these days, I'm happy it's still on the market as a software. see you around :)

I love programs like Maya and Lightwave. They have helped me a lot to invent new ways of using Bryce.

But i am a hobbyist. If i had to work professionally to deadlines [which i had to do in the past] i would use the German Cinema4D. The best 4D app around in my humble oppinion.

I do appreciate you taking the time to comnment on my work.
