Crystal Waterfalls
Description: After seeing Davids Great big Waterfall image(Apologies for not posting a message or anything on it, i've been busy and my computer is still down), I decided to try and make my own waterfall, and I believe i've suceeded :o). This was done on my uncles computer which is a much faster computer too, so it went well.

I like the blue too

LitoNico asked if I would put the gbwaterfall.mat up on my website (which has now been done) so if you wanted you could give that a try (maybe have to fiddle with the lighting to get the col bal right maybe some bluish ambient light - dunno - oh and higher resolution terrains with the same kind of noise on it). Not convinced about the hovering rock unless you can get the water to splash around it believeably (which would be extra impressive). If anything I'd say there is not enough turbulence at the base of the fall to account for the amount of water apparently running over it. But these are just niggles - as a picture I believe I like your version better because of the colours. Make sure your uncles computer is not spending any time idle - keep it rendering!

Holy...

wow... at first glance I thought this was David's waterfall with a blue texture! For rock splashes there is a photoshop brush that does wonders with waterfall spray. Oh, and thanks for posting that texture; its wonderful!

More work will come :)

I just finished my half yearly exams for school, so I should now have a bit more time to access forums and such, and definately more work!

Mist

The mist is a sphere with the puff ball texture, but just increased in softness. The water below the falls is the caribbean resort texture, but with the volume and all been changed to a much more stronger blue colour. This is also the same as the waterfall, except that was twice as hard, the original texture for the waterfall had a red/pink colour if I recall, and I had to completely change that.
