Excellent lighting and render! It is a lot of details.
One small remark. If the character looks to the right, he should be placed on the left edge of a scene.
On the left tree an ivy from Ivy Generator?

Yes, the Ivy is made with the Ivy generator. But the leaves are from the Bryce content library, because I had trouble with the tranparency of the leaves that come with the ivy generator.

This is a great scene, everything is spot on. The water looks like it were moving. Slepalex is right about the character. Usually, you have the characters looking into the picture, not out of it. However, doing it the way you did changes the meaning. This man is at the end of whatever he did before - or he doesn't see any future for him at the moment: dead end.

The man who looks out of the picture, that is a bit like in the paintings of Caspar David Friedrich. But believe me, this is the only point that my little scene with his masterpieces has in common.;-)
