Mutant Star Dog
Description: The small dark object was craftet in Sculptris. The camera is inside a similar, but larger one. In front of the camera is the EWL (extreme wide-angle (fisheye) lens) - a forthcoming product by David and myself. The diagonal angle of view is 300 degrees. Lit by an experimental HDRI from inside. However, no light is generated, only specularity. The sky is black, there is no HDRI backdrop. Rendered with DOF and 256 rpp on my fanless i3 in 24 hours. Without DOF, it's below half an hour.

I like this Horo. Just wondered what the litttle squiggle is on just in from the left hand edge near the bottom. Looks like a hair on the lens effect.

Forget that Horo, I just found one of you other images of a Freelander Land Rover from 2007 with the same.

So I assume the squiggle is your signature. Sorry about that.

Thank you, Stuart. Yes that squiggle is indeed my sig. I use to hide it a bit but it appears on all my renders. Happy searching :)

I just realized, I don't have anything like a signature on any of my renders, but noticed that most people do. Just never occurred to me. Although some I've seen are way too big and spoil a good image.

Thank you Trish. We're still working on the product, there are also filters that will come with the lenses.

This image has a very nice color and form thing going on. It feel surrealistic. Wonderful abstract work. Looks very polished in a professional sense.
