Description: I was inspired to this picture by a thread in the Bryce forum on DAZ 3D's web site.

I always struggled with the foam. Here I am quiet satisfied with it. All textures are of the libraries of Bryce 7.1 Pro. The sky is my one creation.

I love the clouds and the water surface. Given the distance to it, your attention to the foam also paid off well. I don't know if you'd take this as "classic" but.. should also be there a sailing ship there? Don't know.. :)

Good to get the waves and coastal sea foam.

The sky and water are on the spot. Excellent render. I particularly like how the water and sky fade into the distance. This looks very natural.

This image is amazing. Arresting in some way. As others, I agree that the water is incredible, as is the atmosphere. The terrain might look a bit better with visible trees, but then maybe not, it all depends. As is now it looks quite good, the perfect shade of green grass.

It appears to me that the scaling of the water is somehow disjointed with the scaling of the other elements of the scene. However, I also like the water at its current scale objectively, I can imagine that the water might not be as awesome looking at a tighter wave frequency. So in this case I surely agree with the slightly over-scaled water.

You know, that water really is VERY good. How exactly did yo do that?

Thank you

Thank you a lot for your kind comments, gentlemen.

@rashadcarter1: I am nearly a bit embarrassed about your frienldy meaning about the water. I really did nothing special. The material I chose, is simply from the Bryce 7.1 Pro material library "Pro Materials" -> "Water surfaces" -> "North Sea". I only changed the size from 2 % to 4 %. That's all. The credits actually belongs to material guru Mr. David Brinnen.

To tell you the whole truth: In the DAZ3D forum of Bryce GeroBlueJim tried to make an island scene. I did not like the sky nor the water he used and therefore thought I try a island scene by myself. I needed only 1 hour for this. Sometimes you are simply lucky and all things fit surprisingly well together. But I found it a bit pretentiously to present my scene in the forum.
