Oh my, this looks like a ton of fun. First, the main room looks great, the tone mapping toward the generous end looks very nice and inviting. The gifts, with the bubble wrap, I swear you two together are unstoppable. I find myself needed to study to image to discern what is hdri and what is Bryce rendered. I hope a million people download this gift and utilize it. You might want to post a link to the shadow catching video, as it will be essential and not everyone knows about this.

Thank you Rashad!

Well, this is a new and more efficient way to capture shadows, it renders much much faster as you'll see if you grab the source, there is a trick to this.

The essentials of which are explained here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ASbkuNq4LA
but as ever, the devil is in the detail and getting everything set up just perfectly.

No negative lights required, no transparent materials, just a lot of tiny tiny adjustments.

You're welcome. Thank you David to bring it up here. Why is the main picture mirrored? Not that it would matter.

Yellow Pen, you are welcome.

Horo, mirrored? Oh yes... probably because I picked up one I'd been using for spherical mapping instead. I have too many experiments on the go at one time, I lose track.

I thought that much - and I'm certainly the only one who got puzzled.
