Description: Rendered in Daz Studio 4
I have been playing around in daz studio quite a bit latley,So i decided to enter a bookcover contest, Ironicaly it was rejected not based on content or artistic imagery but on the fact that it was not done in photo shop ? Go figure

Well, well... fancy that. Not knowing much about DS I can't say much about the render, but I am curious about the shapes in the background.

Shapes

They are Bryce terrains made in the terrain editor from a picture.

Oh right, and did you bridge these over to DS for rendering? Or did you render these in Bryce and composite them in with the DS render in post? Or did you use a Bryce render as a background in DS? Or something else... I've run of guesses.

I used the bridge to bring the terains into Daz and rendered them aginst a background made in Vue, then rendered it and used it as a background for the figure and rendered it together, Im sure i went the long way around to do this but i was pleased with the results.

You have done very well to combine all these things in DS. I find DS almost impenetrablelly difficult to use. So anything done with DS that doesn't result in a keyboard being thrown out of a window impresses me greatly!

Great book cover, the discussion whith David is interesting. So it got rejected because it was made in DS and not in Photoshop. Go figure what would have happened if you said you made it in Bryce. Oh I know those "my program is better" zealots.
