landing platform
Description:	Picture was rendered in Bryce 7. I used some pre made models; landing platform and few other things were modeled in wings 3d. Small postwork in photoshop was made. Render time about 20 minutes. I could not decide which version has better mood - v1 or v2 , that is why i made a comparative picture . (I made a naming mistake - v2 is the green one)

I prefer the first (left) one, the sky is more interesting. The building is SMCGBlock 39 by Stonemason (I used it here http://www.bryce5.com/details.php?image_id=4792). Platform and aircraft are nicely done, gives the scene I scifi appearance, what you attempted. The shadows could be a bit darker but on the whole, I find this a very good render. Keep it up.

Yes this is building number 39 from Stonemason city block pack.Those models are amazing and I saw it first time in Your picture which I like very much.
Landing spaceship was modeled in wings 3d, but I saw it first in sketchup 3dwarehouse library website and I wondered if i can model it in wings.
Sky in v1 picture was aded in photoshop.

Hard to choose between the interesting sky on the left and the atmosphere on the right. I do like the green, if you could just make the sky more interesting and also have the green light that could be maybe the best of all possible worlds? As Horo observes also, this is a good render, technically, in terms of lighting and composition, so also, in that way it is hard to choose.

Looks like it could be part of a cutting edge animation. The first one engages me more as well, the sky sets a more defined mood in the first image. Still, I really love the platform you built into the scene, it fits perfectly!

my wife also prefer first image. But my oryginal concept was closer to the v2 (green). It supposed to be dark moody, claustrofobic city space with heavy atmosphere and sky.
