Ah - then I wasn't wrong with my comment at the DAZ forum regarding the last one. That proves that it is well done.

Tony B, suggested coloured pastel chalk. I can see that, pastel is very smudgy too. In any other media, besides this, I generally end up covered in what I am working in.

I am curious about the chromatic noise. How is that achieved? I think you are developing some powerful tools for Bryce. Hopefully in the next cycle we can make these ideals into actual workable features within the software. Hoping!

Using a randomly mapped multicoloured material on a sphere. I then used the scene converter http://www.daz3d.com/shop/bryce-7-pro-scene-converter/ to be precise the Hybrid Scene Converter to turn the material (from the inside) into a angular mapped HDRI backdrop.

This in turn I used as in some of the renders as a backdrop (shielded from the camera by a white screen and scattered with blurry reflection) and in others as a TA optimised light source with Boost Light enabled. The scattering with reflection gives "focused" results the TA scatter corrected images give very "unfocused" results and better colour blending. I used low RPP 16 or 32 to obtain the grainy effect.
