Seashore
Description: Been struggling with this one on and off for a few weeks now - one result of my struggle was the great big waterfall image, but that asside it has been one long slog and a precession renders in which the sea comes out looking like a sheet of rumpled cellulose. I am open to suggestions - why does my sea refuse to look like it's made of water?

On uncles comp - Suggestion

For the crumpled water, stretch it out more, stretching it out further will split the waves apart even further and lower them as well. Try it out, or have you already? :o)

White caps

Put white caps on the water using photoshop or another photo editor. I have seen this on water effects before and it makes it look alot better. Looks good otherwise.

Hmn...

I'm reluctant to go beyond Bryce, I don't like post work because it interferes with scalability. I keep meaning to come back to this one but I find I've always got too many renders in progress to leave me enough power to fiddle with this processor hungry file. Soon though soon...

boats

Put some boats out in the water. Add something to draw your attention to.

i agree, the waves need to have whitecaps or ocean spray and something else to draw one's eye.

it is very nice however:) i have been working with bryce for the past 9 years and as soon as i recieve my activation code i will be posting my work as well, i may put in an unfinished work aswell
