That is really a lovely picture. Very nice atmosphere. I like it very much. Excellent lighting.
What I appreciate in your work are the accurate details. E.g. the pale light on the tree in front of the window. And I LOVE the floor. It is a procedural texture, isn't it? I always wanted to make such a floor by myself. Maybe you can give me a hint, how you made it?
The only thing I could mention is the colour of the candle's flame. I feel the yellow is a bit too greenish, I had used a bit more red maybe.
But excellent picture. Full marks.

Thanks, electro-elvis.
The structure of a parquet is compound ABC a structure. It is projected on 2D Face or a cube, parametrical way. In A and B sources - the identical structure only turned relatively each other on 90 degrees. In a source the C chess structure from library which plays a mask role in the alpha channel. It was necessary to pick up necessary proportions only.
I can send you these materials if I will know an e-mail address.

This is a masterpiece. Few have the courage to attempt a low light scene, even fewer succeed. You did. We have essentially only the light from the full moon and the candle flame. They are superbly balanced. The materials are excellent and the parquet is amazing. It looks absolutely natural with the faint specularity from the moon on it. I also made a parquet - but I just photographed the floor ... 5/5, no doubt about it.

I find myself spending a lot of time looking at your images. There is always so much to see, yet it is all so simple. That floor is about the most beautiful thing I've ever seen!

The light is quite masterfully handled. Like everything else in this piece, you had careful intent behind every choice. Brilliant.

Full marks!!!!
