Trans Am in an exhibition space
Description: Bryce 7.1 Pro render,

Trans Am model from Turbosquid.

A further experiment with lighting. Mostly, here dome lights are used and some material ambient to give the impression of light scatter.

TA, though wonderful, still has a hard time outperforming a well executed fake GI. The lack of noise here is very comforting. I still miss some bluish tint. I assume that is sky outside the window, skies usually are not fully white.

Domes wee a fine choice here, but the 3D fill, though not as well understood, would have done the job better, and it would not have required any ambience.

The ambience used in this image is quite nice and seems to be only in the places where it should be. So far so good no complaints from me.

Thanks Rashad,

The main issue I have is in the corners of the room. The direct light sources do not give a correct response. I don't know if any way of using the 3D fill would have compensated for what is occurring (or rather not occurring) in those narrow spaces.

Boy, your picture looks like a photo! The only thing you probably could recognize it as a 3D picture, but you have to look very closely, are the broken lines of the gaps between the floor tiles. I am not sure, whether it's a Bryce characterics or a rather more general beahaviour of 3D programms. But this is merely find faults on a very high level. Great picture! Nicely constructate exhibition space by the way.

The hall is simple and beautiful. The gaps in the lines electro-elvis mentions have their reason in a too low render quality - either by the render engine or the settings. It is a minor point but it gives it away that it is not a photography.

Thanks Alex, Elvis, yes the lines. A problem that can be overcome with more sampling in the render settings, but... ah, at the cost of a lot of render time. Always a compromise to be had. Maybe a change in floor material would be easier...

David that looks amazing, paint the next one red and it will look like the one in my garage, the one in the driveway is an 89 GTA (burgandy).
