Autumn Mood. Cranes.
Autumn Mood. Cranes.

Autumn Mood. Cranes.
Description: It may seem strange to upload an autumn image picture in the boost of spring. Actually, this picture was made in the autumn of 2010. I'm not sure under which gallery to put it -- either archiecture or landscapes.... Perhaps, into misc, not to be mistaken :-)
Everything is modelled in Bryce, mainly from cubes. Only birds bodies and cranes hooks are made from symmetrical lattices. All textures are as always procedural.

Good modeling job, again.
The image is too cold to feel "autumn". Mostly blueish-white-gray. Colors are important when you want to setup a mood for your picture. Here the matter is an artists' choice of course, my personal opinion would be that I perceive autumn more "golden" lets say, more of an orange-reddish shades/nuances to feel warmer like all the falling leaves. In an industrial scenario however there could be a possible shift in the colors, and yes - cranes flying away speak for themselves. Bear in mind the colors.

Great modeling. It does feel cold, I would place it in late November, just before the first snow.
