Well, your attempt definitely succeeded. The Hummer looks very real. The landscape, sky and weather are very nicely done. There is a bit much of DOF for my taste and the render got noisy. Modelling and the track are impeccable.

Here I support those who believe that I could do it without DOF. Actually, while making the picture I thought mainly about how to model the Hummer. When the model was ready, I needed to create some surroundings for it. Frankly speaking, I was a bit tired, and made the surroundings in a quick way. I don't quite like the way the grass is made in the foreground and on the other side of the road. Trees, also, leave much to be desired. DOF here was used in order to conceal these lapses...
