Aqua Industries
Description: The buildings are Greeble City Blocks 39 by Stonemason, the clouds from Cloudscapes 5 by David Brinnen and the Michael (hard to see) from DAZ3D. The scene is lit by Tourbillion Chapel by Horo.

The scene would render quite swiftly in around 2 hours if it were not for the water which took another 7 hours for the anti-aliasing process alone. The main light comes from the front, the visible Bryce sun does not contribute much more than illuminate the clouds. The blue light comes from the side windows of the chapel and the brownish tones shine up through the water from the chapel's floor. Rendered with only 64 quality. I didn't fancy to increase the quality and doubling or quadruple the render time for the few places shadow banding is visible.

Beautiful render indeed. Lightning is just awesome. The only thing that is somehow wrong here is the direction of lightning - the moon itself is behind the buildings, but bluish light comes from the right. But if it is extraterrestrial image, that there could be two moons:). Anyway good job.

Well, I like it. What Alex is saying is logical but it doesn't seem to "harm" the overall look of the picture. Good thing to restrain from too saturated colors, makes your image even more real. The only minor thing a bit "off-scale" is the reflectivity of the water. Perhaps less reflection will be better. Just sharing a thought.

Thank you Alexandr and richter. This is set on another world with more than one light source in the sky. The water has too much specularity, I do agree.

There is another issue. The stars are disks, not points. This is because the FOV was set rather low. With a wider FOV, however, the buildings would lean more together. I considered the the star disks as the smaller evil.
