Jagged Terrain
Description: The terrain editer is still full of surprises. I stumbled over something new and experimented with it. Just a couple of TE terrains and a Bryce sun. The parts in the shadow are lit by one of my first experimental HDRIs, made with a mirror ball at the time. The terrain material is a derivate of a material created by David and will be featured in one of our next products still in the works. The lake uses Calm Grey waters, available here and slightly modified.

Terrain editor rocks

You are absolutly right. The terrain editor is a very powerful tool. For examples I realized yesterday that you can gradually use the New-Button if you draw the mouse slowly over it. It gives a similar effect like the lower function. I confess, it is not a important thing to do, but it is interesting that you can do it.
You have made an interesting landscape with a nice texture. This little lake - what a target for an ambitious hiker. And the light and the haze are excellent. 5/5

Thank you electro-elvis. I didn't know that one with the New button, just tried. If you have already a terrain, you can do the same with the Fractal button and if you have selected another pattern, you can blend them. Just discovered.

Can still be slow drag any button to the right or left and get the opposite effect. :)) This effect is superimposed on the previous one.
Well done to DTE!

Thank you Alexey and Alexandr. You're talking about the TE, not the DTE, I reckon ;)
