Ok, I'll buy it , i can't take high pressure salesmen, but you'll have to explain to the Mrs. why there is another Daz 3D charge on my card,
All kidding aside the texturing looks great and for under 7 dollars it's a deal, I just looked at the previous render for this and it is phenominal.
Well Done.

Thanks, well if it will ease your Mrs's conscience let her know that the money is recycled in the form of commercial licences for Genetica, Grome and CrazyBump. The other software used in the creation of these material/terrain combinations. All of which is totally legit and above board. As is the copy of PSP (which admittedly only set me back ?5) that I use to rescale the images.

Looks amazing David. From a lighting standpoint it looks realistic enough. However, you probably should have applied your texture as World Cubic instead of mapping modes. If we are to believe that all of this is made with the exact same material, then the details should be the same scale on all surfaces. Here I feel the scaling of the material is different for certain items. The texture scaling is much tighter on the ball than it is on the floor or wall for example. The textures themselves look great, which was the point of this render I believe. Great job!

Thanks Rashad. I wavered over the mapping modes and the scaling issue, I chose this approach because it showed the material at different scales, but as you say, this may not have been the best choice after all.

Well, the other drawback to your chosen method is the stretching along one of the axis. World Cubic for me is the best solution overall, but no method is perfect.
