This reminded me immediately at "Die Toteninsel" (the island of the dead) by Arnold B?cklin (http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_Toteninsel) I own a copy of the 5th one down. It is not the same, but I think there is potential.

Thank you, I have tried very hard to make the less sloped surfaces look like rich vegetation - whist avoiding actually applying "real" trees or bushes.

Really very well created material for the terrain. It looks like plants. Very nice.
I short question about the surf. The way you have made it is an interesting approach. I wonder how it looks, if you use a higher camera point?
