Fog in the hills.
Fog in the hills.

Fog in the hills.
Description: Bryce 7.1.0.109

A 2x2 grid of tileing terrains, with ambient and prebaked textures mixed in with procedural components to create the illusion of complexity.

Three light sources, direct sunlight, an infinite width parallel positioned beneath the clouds and global ambience which is being controlled indirectly by the shape of the terrain.

Looks great, David! The texture of the ground is very convincing. And what is the direction of parallel light? From the camera?

Thanks Alexey,

The light is straight down from above. Like skylight if you will, but this casts shadows. Also by being positioned right under the cloud slab, it offers greater rendering efficiency. My aim is to keep renders in the 5 to 10 minute bracket, for these tiled landscape scenes.
